Publications

It's not necessary to exclusively transfer all copyrights to publish your research work. Patrimonial copyrights can be transferred individually, non-exclusively, and for a specific period. It is crucial to choose publishers who allow researchers to retain ownership of their research work and permit its distribution with open licenses, like Creative Commons, that allow for ethical reuse.

Research Data

Research data includes all the evidence that forms the basis of the research results. The preservation and open sharing of research data are among the pillars of the European strategy for Open Science. This strategy aims to create a European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) and promote data management according to the FAIR principles to make data findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable.

The Research Data Management Plan (DMP) documents, from the project's early stages, the choices and actions for FAIR data management.

The main rules on privacy and personal data protection to be followed before a research project begins and during its various phases, to balance the protection of fundamental individual principles with the freedom of scientific research.
